Discover our irresistible blend of herbs and spices, designed to enhance your pasta or tomato-based sauces to accompany them!

This blend, made up of rigorously measured spices and herbs, brings a very mild and aromatic taste that transports the taste buds to Italy and its typical pasta dishes.

This blend pairs wonderfully with Mediterranean cuisine. It is also ideal for flavouring sun-kissed vegetables and sauces, particularly those based on tomato and olive oil.

Leave the pot on the table, it'll be perfect as a last-minute seasoning!

Our Meibon blend is «ready to use». It is self-sufficient due to the presence of salt, already dosed with the various spices and flavourings. It is not necessary to add salt when using our Meibon Pasta blend.

All ingredients used are guaranteed 100% natural. No additives or preservatives are used in Meibon products.

Ingredients:

Sweet chilli, sea salt, oregano, yeast extract, sugar, ginger, garlic, onion, carrot, basil, olive oil.

Usage tips and easy recipe ideas

To sprinkle, preferably use the wide opening (so as not to lose any of the ingredients!

Conservation: keep the pot away from heat and humidity

  • Pasta Cook your fresh or dried pasta according to the instructions on the packaging. Once cooked and drained, sprinkle with Meibon spices to your taste, adding a drizzle of olive oil, a little Parmesan cheese and fresh basil. As a guide, use about one teaspoon of spices per person.
  • Bolognese sauceAdd a few spoonfuls of Meibon spices halfway through cooking your Bolognese sauce, and its aromas will be delightfully revealed. Taste before serving and adjust if necessary.
  • Ratatouille: Finely chop the garlic and onions. Cut the courgettes, aubergines, peppers and tomatoes. Sauté in olive oil. Add the pasta mixture and fresh herbs if you have any (thyme, rosemary, etc.). Leave to simmer gently for 40 minutes. Try adding a teaspoon of honey during cooking: this will temper the acidity of the tomatoes and give it a little something extra! Taste and adjust the seasoning to your liking!

    Our children's favourite mix when it comes to eating pasta. Add a knob of butter or olive oil! They also feel like they can season it themselves, like the grown-ups, which is a bonus!
